This puppy chow recipe quickly has become a family favorite and most requested snack during December in our household. It’s so easy to make, and it makes a lot. I love to make this recipe once or twice (because seriously, it yields a lot), grab a cute Christmas tin like these, and bring some to friends or family that we visit during the holidays as a hostess gift.
Here are my recommendations to make the best puppy chow:
- Use PB Fit instead of regular peanut butter
- Splurge to get the good chocolate chips so it has a rich flavor — I like to use 75% milk and 25% dark chocolate
- I personally don’t like adding butter, but if you feel it needs more smoothness, I’d recommend using Ghee butter
